Why I Create: Tommy Lee, Drummer of Mötley Crüe

Cool piece. In seeing how good Tommy looks at the end, it’s wild he has survived all these years. A tried and true rockstar.

That was great. Thanks for posting. Always one of my favorite rockstars. He gets cooler all of the time and is still cool in 2025!

I respect him for his talent and for exploring whatever genre he wants - rap, DJing and whatever - but to me he stopped being cool around the time he got married to Pam.

Which was right around the same time his band was imploding with Corabi. Before that, he was primarily known as a great drummer. Not Neil Peart, Keith Moon or John Bonham, but most certainly popular & respected amongst musicians and fans alike. People for sure talked about his drum solos & what they consisted of. But yea, after Pam & especially after the sex tape, Tommy Lee being cool & known as a drummer was no more.

I feel like this is 6 or 7 years old pre Dirt maybe? Think I've seen it before.
