Can Bon Jovi be cowboys again? Young Guns 3
I saw an interview with Emilio Estevez, where he was announcing that Young Guns 3 was gonna happen. Anyway, someone asked him if Jon Bon Jovi would be writing the soundtrack and he said he couldn’t announce anything but the Jon was very interested.
Question is, is Jon even capable of writing such a song anymore?
Better question is who’s gonna sing it? Or are we just gonna let Mr. computer take care of that?

The "young" guns should have Roger Daltrey sing "hope I die before I get old" as the soundtrack.

Jon Bon Jovi can definitely write the record.... singing it? Highly doubt it.roxxxtar wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 6:15 pm I saw an interview with Emilio Estevez, where he was announcing that Young Guns 3 was gonna happen. Here’s the interview by the way. He talks about Bon Jovi a little past halfway through.

Should just leave it alone, the original 2 movies are awesome, plus several characters die in part 2. They would have to call it Old Guns now anyways

I think the movie is called Young Guns 3 Dead or Alive.
Emilio originally wanted to use Wanter Dead or Alive back in the day but Jon said let me write you something new.
Anyway I do not think Jon can write a cowboy song anymore and he sure as F can’t sing it if he did but with AI anything is possible.

Maybe it can take place in New Jersey. Jon can write a faux-Springsteen snoozer.

I’m seeing 2 titles:
Dead Or Alive
Alias Billy The Kid
Can Stephen Pearcy still write a cowboy song?
Kevin Costner could write a cowboy song.

I love those two movies though. Supposedly Emilio has been writing the script for the last few years and Lou Diamond Phillips said it’s a good movie so hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.
A sequel 30 years later, though, I don’t know

He let them use the song now especially since he’s not touring. Just to keep the name out there. Christ, he just did a duet with Pitball.Jason Jennifer Leigh wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 2:28 am I think the movie is called Young Guns 3 Dead or Alive.

Maybe re use some of the same songs from the previous movie, add Wanted, Stick to Your Guns, Ride Cowboy Ride.
Or he could do something mellow like Bruce did with Western Stars. That album itself would make for a good movie soundtrack!
I’m not as excited about this as Cobra Kai but it’s cool to see them revisit it.
