From what I've seen, Huey and Key of G are the greatest talents on Sludge. Huey is an artist with the videography and the band consistently produces good songs with great production.

I'm sure you guys produce your magic on minimal budget. I'd like to see what you could do with a few bucks. This particular song was screaming for a narrative with actors. If that's not doable, have a few guys from the band sitting depressed at a strip club, whatever to maintain visual interest to the viewer. And if that's not doable get a number of flattering shots of that woman and make her a presence in the video. People will listen to that song it's ear candy ( I would have liked to have heard greater intensity building at the end, and deviation from the safe vocal) and that's a band best suited for the background when it comes to videos. Look at me suddenly I have a lot to say. Sorry I stand by my original statement it's all really good work

Giving my honest opinion--no blowing smoke and no trying to get under your skin either.

Might be my favorite song I've heard from you guys! Like a grittier, more hard rock Bob Seger.

The video: I don't typically like the aesthetics of AI--everything looks like it's from Hell--but I do forgive it when it's used as a tool to make something cool and a little freaky. I think here it adds a nice surreal tone to a song about being in a working rock band, which can get pretty freaky and surreal at times. So it works; Huey did an awesome job.

Also, looks y'all have some really nice instruments. Just an observation.

Stage could've maybe used some chicken wire, so I'm taking half a point off, making your final score...

ETA: Song's bridge is really good. I love a good bridge. Nobody seems to know how to do it anymore so I was impressed.

thanks for the kind words Chip, When I write, I try my best. I really work at it. Huey did an amazing job on the video too. We were in Memphis last year on a Monday night opening for some signed band. i go outside and see them pull up in an old tour bus. We all played to a small crowd that night. I stood in the street afterwards thinking, I damn sure aint got it made and that band doesn't either. Its hard work. So I started writing it there.
