Sludge Blooper - Pearcy-Demartini M3 Intro Messed up!!

Post by REO Cokewagon »

The intro started, then got cut, then got started again a half minute later.

Somebody fucked up the intro. or maybe they had to wait for pearcy to finish taking a shit. A true sludge blooper, even before the fuckin band hit the stage.

I think Stephen might’ve been ill for this show … something wasn’t right with him.

Definitely one of those bloopers I've seen a handful of times over the years, seems like it would be easy to do (band isnt ready, etc).

Man, Stephen sounds rough in this show.

Complain about Roth all you want, but compared to Pearcy, he sounded like an angel. Not that I'm really surprised by that at all.

At least you can't accuse any of these guys of lipsyncing!

Of the headliners, from a vocal perspective, Bach was clearly the best, and you can easily tell he's got 12-14 years on the other two.

I watched some of Bach's set online, and besides the fact that he looked like a homeless crackhead, he sounded surprisingly good. Band was tight too

Saw that happen to Warrant on one of the Rock never Stops tours. They played the intro like 3 times before Lane was ready apparently.

I also think Roth gets the most out of "live excitement", meaning someone that you think sounded great when you were there but if you were to watch it on YouTube you're like "wait, he isn't very good".

That's pretty much the Van Halen legend right there.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

I think he has started sounding better in the last year or two, and it might be attributed to him losing 20-30lbs!

He def looks thinner with no quarter-barrel beer gut anymore... but agree, he does look rough in the face.

Everyone ages, and none of us look the same in our 40's or 50's that we did in our 20's... fact.

That sums it up for me! I almost always have fun at concerts just because of “being there”. The light show, the audience, the whole vibe. That’s why people say “don’t judge it by the YouTube clips”.

Bon Jovi, Motley, Sebastian, it’s all good to me. The only guy that was truly noticeably off was Tom Keifer. He sounds like a sick dog when he sounds GOOD so you can imagine how he sounds when he’s bad. Great songs and performances but his vocals were terrible at a couple shows I’ve been to.
