The problem is he plays all the instruments and no one knows or cares who the live band is, so he doesn't have anyone without the last name Van Halen to blame for things.

He needs a Sammy, Dave, or Mike to talk shit about or maybe the social media replaces that.

The thing is he could be SOOO admired and even revered if he made any effort at all. In fact he makes way more effort to go the other way. I'm baffled by his behavior because he seems like a level-headed dude in interviews. The way he engages trolls and is rude to laymen suggesting VH reunions etc is insane. Totally unnecessary.

I suppose whoever is looking at the bottom line could answer that. Ultimately, it seems as long as the promoters make enough money, they get booked.

The money people have to deal with the same people Sludge prods with sticks and calls out about their asshole nature, so....it probably helps if it does anything.

I know Wolf is very talented and I respect him for what he pulled off as a young kid for the VH gig - but I just can’t get into his own music. It’s pretty bland.

He was on such a high note when he played with Dave Grohl…if he put out a VH sounding record he’d win over so many people.

It absolutely affected... both... in a Positive way and, a Negative way.

I am an honest person, I don't fence sit, I don't kiss ass, I don't pretend to be anyone I am not... while, there are many who do ALL of that to keep the peace.

Not me.

The site started as a fun little "Internet" thing, before anyone really knew where the .com or www. world was headed. In time, it took on a life of its own, and here I am, 27 years later.

I can tell you, I have had countless, and I mean endless musicians, band guys, managers, agents, radio people, label reps, and more... all tell me how they enjoy the site and for what it's worth, they "get it".

However, there are some who LOVE the site, and have continued to do so, for years... until it's THEIR band, or THEIR situation that becomes a Headline.

I can tell you, I have had emails, phone calls, texts and more, directed to me, saying: "Hey man..." blah, blah, blah.

I always, and immediately tell them, "Here is my number, feel free to call me direct whenever you want."

The response is 90% positive, as they are usually over-reacting, and slow their roll pretty quick upon communicating with me.

But, there are few, who lost their sh!t, and have had an issue on-going.

I will live and die by my sword, and sleep well.

I'm at the very tail end of Gen X. It's been funny noticing that "millennials" as a derogatory term has been noticeably fading from use as millennials are reaching "bitch about kids these days" age. It's possible that it will continue to fade and then come back up presuming that at some point younger generations start bitching about the old people.

Yep. Now it's Gen Z that is refusing to hold down jobs and Gen Alpha who wont listen to anything that doesnt come out of an ipad. Millenials are now branded as hard workers who have been unfairly priced out of ever buying a house.
