Did u ever get stung by a bee while being a beekeepr?? Did u pass out because of it, or have to goto the hospital??

Why did u become a beekeeper? Was it everythin' u thought it'd be??

My brother is a beekeeper, it’s dangerous, a lot of work and little reward.

My aunt always told me: no money - no honey.

Bees are our friends. We need them. I don't raise them but have a hive living in a tree in my backyard. I like to watch them in the evening returning.

A guy who lives near my brother's house in Maine does it. I've spoken with them about it &, like the poster above said, it's a ton of work with not much reward. A total labor of love situation & you need to have a fair amount of cash to start & run it.

Yes I did. She liked having her tits slathered with honey and dancing around the apartment.

Oh. I thought it said "Ever bone a beekeeper??". Honest mistake.

I'm no beekeeper, but I don't mind a nice buzz now and then.

Yes, I've been a beekeeper, in Alberta Canada, about 60 miles west of Edmonton. I did it for 4 years and had only 10 hives. Many of the hives would die over winter and we would buy more hives from New Zealand since our Winter is their Summer, so the new hives would be mature when we got them in Spring. Each hive makes plenty of honey but you've got to leave some for the bees to eat over winter. Depending on what flowers the bees are using, your honey can vary and some (i.e. clover honey) can get a higher price on the market. But like anything agricultural, you're going to have good years and shitty years. We had a year where wasps wiped out all of our bees. Been stung by bees many times and it's nothing. If you think it hurts, you're either allergic or you're a pussy. A bee sting is nothing compared to a wasp sting.
