Super bummed to hear this officially announced just an hour ago on Social Media.

Former "Feelgood's" venue turned "Count's Vamp'd" is selling for 4.3 million dollars. Add in another 500K and you get the guts too, but anyone buying will never get the heart and soul of that place.
Total bummer to hear this as Korie and Danny and I have become friends after playing there, booking bands there and I may have helped empty a keg or two over the 16 years playing there.

Local Businessman Chuck Brennan of "payday" loan company "Dollar Loan Center" is a huge rock fan. He tried to reunite RATT years ago, had an event at the Orleans that featured Kiss, Vince, Pearcy, Winger etc about 10 years ago. He's bringing in Loverboy, Night Ranger and Pearcy DeMartini to close out the month of June (and likely offsetting their guarantees) with the final show with Owner Danny "Count" Koker's band Count 77 playing the last show.

"Stupid Name" or not, there will be a massive hole in town for the many bands that hit there. I can't see another venue that exists here now that would know how to work the business they have for a decade and a half like Vamp'd did.

Despite what you might think and rightfully so, this isn't a cash grab at all. Vamp'd will likely not profit from the ticket sales but from bar sales. The ask for Pearcy Demartini is much higher than you'd think. Hence why Chuck Brennan and Dollar Loan Center are sponsoring those.

They won't lose $$ but they won't be making money from these gigs. They're truly trying to give a big send off w/ these underplays for fans etc but shouldn't be expected to lose money.

Do the math on the ticket price and capacity at about 300. There's your guarantee. My guess is that they got these bands for lower than their normal asking price but Chuck will fly them in his private jet, they'll stay at the nicest places and these will be kick as memorable shows. They will get paid for these gigs but Danny and Korie aren't retiring off of them. They'll make their investment back and $$ from the bar sales.

They've been running this bar mostly at a loss since covid and the new partnership in Dec didn't help.

This is my guess- I don't know anything but math just maths sometimes.

Hoping to have Korie or Danny Coker on the show soon to weigh in on the last 16 years of Vamp'd and whats next.

Before Vamp’D’ era was place called Pinks. It was an arcade across from Rio…stage in back of arcade -got to see legends like Bang Tango /Quiet Riot and I believe LA Guns. That was late 1990’s early 2000’s..be good place for Lizzy Borden- Fasterpussy Cat- Vain - acoustic Trixter shows if place was still around. I’m not understanding where are all 65-70 year hair bands gong rock now in LV

Not even close to 75K? Respectfully, you're wrong. The other shows they've done have been "soft" ticket style events such as festivals. This will be their first headliner and it will sell out at 250 + fees per. While I don't believe Pearcy Demartini are getting 75K for THIS Show as I stated above, I bet they're getting at least 50K and the extras that will come with it.

They have a Big Time partner on these shows. Vamp'd has done more "Free" or $5/10 shows that any place I know - Are they going to charge 25$ for this, and lose 40+K on this "for the fans"? Hell no.

Again- they won't get rich off of this, but they won't lose out either. This place has been in the red since Covid and they're being wise thinking w/ their brains, not their hearts.

I stand by my 75K quote (give or take) for these shows w/ the exception of Vampd, I'm sure they worked out something feasible but do the math. 300 Cap x 250.00.
