Anyone hear the new Firehouse song yet?

I'm curious, but not curious enough to spend a dollar to download it.
(I did, however, just listen to the new Faster Pussycat song. Someone should have paid me a dollar to sit through it.)

The song is called Mighty Fine Lady. You can supposedly download it from their music site for $1 but I couldn't get it to work. And I didn't want to have to sit through the entire Eddie Trunk interview to hear it.

It's 2025, how many $1 are they gonna get to hear a song that you can't even sample? What's the point? If it's not on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, or social media, then it just doesn't exist. It is what it is.

Trunk spun it on his Hair Nation show this past Monday, I spun it 2xs Wednesday on the Live Show I do every Weds for the past 7 years.
The link was actually down because they overloaded the server upon release. I think they're trying to recoup a bit of the money put into recording etc and hey, nothing wrong with that.
They are planning on doing a streaming release etc very soon.
For the song - it's the 1st new song in over 20 years and first song w/ new singer Nate Peck. If you like Firehouse, you'll like this song. Nate did a great job and is the most suitable voice to replace CJ Snare. The casual fan (many fans have no clue there are no OG members in many 80's bands) will likely think it's the original guy.
Pleasantly surprised with this song and I wish them the best with it.
If you're a fan and like the band, support w/ the 1$. If you don't, then don't!

They solved the download issue so I bit the bullet and made the dollar investment.
It's actually pretty good, and sounds like Firehouse. Prime Time era Firehouse, but still. Chorus could be stronger and it takes a while to get going, but a solid Firehouse song in 2025 with a new singer. Will listen again

I heard it on Eddie Chunks show. I mean, it wasn’t horrible but it’s nothing I need to hear again, so that was all she wrote.

Fucking beyond retarded to charge for the song. They should be doing all they can to build up "goodwill" with the dwindling fan base considering the new song is with a scab singer.
And yes,they should get the original bass player back.
