I actually read the article. Kid Rock did not send anyone home. The owner, someone named Steve Smith, sent them home. Which means the title of this thread is complete bullshit. As is the speculation "Someone tipped off Kid Rock" since the article clearly states 1) No Raid occurred and 2) The owner did it based on other raids in the area.

Much like Gene and Paul's "Rock N Brews", I doubt Kid Rock is in the kitchen hiring help, ordering supplies and taste testing the menu. His name is on it, and that is about it. The article clearly states the owner is a Nashville businessman named Steve Smith. Maybe Mr. Smith should raise employee wages and offer better benefits to entice Americans to work there. Sounds pretty simple to me.

For the record I am not a Kid Rock fan. I find him to be a douche and his music is horrible. But can we be honest about things? Shitting your pants every time something remotely Trump related happens, then making up your own facts to push your agenda, just makes normal people disregard anything you say or do. But it is not. Raising wages results in raising prices. And doing so in any business and specifically in a restaurant is not a "pretty simple" thing to do assuming you want to continue to stay in business.

Raising wages may entice Americans to work there, but the resulting higher prices will not entice customers to eat there. At which point you have less customers and need to raise prices even higher to make up for a loss of customers. Cycle repeats until the doors close.

He has a home in Nashville. This isn't some business investment that he's never stepped foot in. He's there more than any of the other celebrities who have bars in Nashville.
