They will find that this guy was on anti-depressants at some point in his youth or the last couple of years. Those things mess people up really bad. After brain tumor surgery, I was on an anti-seizure medicine for a while, and I started noticing that I was making some over-the-top responses to my son and also was feeling really odd - negative. Looking up side-effects, I saw "suicidal thoughts." It honestly wasn't that, but the sheer negativity and over-the-top reactions seemed to suggest that it was having some psychosomatic impact. Went to ask the doctor, and he said, yes - this one isn't for you. We can use some thing not as strong for the anti-seizure effect. That worked, and it has been markedly better. But I had the chance to comprehend that something was a little off. What about those who cannot? From what I've read and also from a couple of cases I have seen, anti-depressants (or overuse of or withdrawal from) can have some really awful impacts - putting ideation into people that simply wouldn't otherwise be there. That's just a thought.
an older couple we went to church with years ago (90's). Successful couple. not that it means anything. She had a catering business and he had an equipment rental company. The husband was put on anti depressants for some reason. After a while, he went to a local funeral home, went in and made his arraignments. Of course the funeral home was just thinking he was taking care of future business like a lot of folks do. No alarms or flags during the whole process until after he paid. He gave them a suit to keep for him. They thought it was weird. Why would they hang on to this suit for possibly years and years? He was most gracious. went outside, got in his car, and killed himself... His wife said the meds "changed" him. He became someone else and no one could help him. I believe it was prozac
the kid was probably on meds his whole life. Not sure how it is in the "big City", but round here, many kids are on meds. And its crazy. They have therapists' and all kinds of crap. I know someone that works in the school system. they tell me way over half the kids in school are on some type of meds, whether for adhd or anti depressants, or mood meds. parents have lost their minds drugging their kids...
