This is a bit refreshing, after all of the "Our side and their side have amicably agreed to part company, we wish them the best in their future endeavors" corporate bullshit that is practically mandatory.

He only announced he was fired on Friday and then Monday put up this joke post. It's not like he's Sammy Hagar and has been talking for years that Alex won't talk to him.

I think there might be some truth to these two.

I never thought that about this playing--I always thought he was loose while still being totally locked in--but Grohl's a drummer and he knows exactly what he wants to hear.

Maybe Freese wasn't bringing enough Gap Band flams and Black Flag snare rolls.
