They're all rather short. I'm a whopping 5'7" and they are all shorter than me. Spitz was especially short.

There must have been something in the vetting process for Belladonna and Bush, like there would have had to have been for Brian Johnson, that the new singer also needed to be a lilliputian, or the band would look ridiculous.

Gene is 6'2". Tallest member of that Anthrax lineup was Frankie at 5'7", and chances are Gene was also wearing some kind of boots.

The height thing is real, though. That's part of why Paul Crook was never made a full member. Worked out for him, though, he probably made more money with Meatloaf.
