Was excited for this show for months- had Slaughter and 1/4 Vixen- plan was always to leave after Slaughter

Only 80 miles away-
Started to drive around noon
30 miles in ..started thinking do I really want to do this?
It’s Vixen songs but not really Vixen? Saw Slaughter in Laughlin few months before put on amazing show- with badass show looking like 1990 basically with backdrop view of Laughlin hotels and river

Venue was heading too was RV park- in middle of nowhere -
Arrived at town with stop at Panda Express
Drove around town looked like Mayberry
Couldn’t find venue from GPS thing..drove around lake looked pretty awful
Left took drive to local casino- that was cool
Now 3pm
Show doors were 5pm with Vixen on at 7
Was this going be worth it? Already had plans to see best Hollywood guitarist at dive bar in Down Town LA..at 11:30pm
If I found venue I was gong leave after Slaughter anyway
Parked in 7 Eleven lot ate few burritos from store..

Made choice to drive back 70 miles then go see LA legend in best dive bar in LA

Never drove to show before then made choice to leave before- honestly that was fun .

Saw photos of Vixen - Slaughter venue with Slaughter set list..venue was near the lake. Looked like C- fair set up .
I made best choice again in life

LaToya Jackson doing gigs in Hollywood this week..maybe I’ll go…or maybe I’ll go and leave before the show

Went to Tommy’s burgers after around 2am..place 24 hours open..up all night

Two questions I hope I don't regret asking:

--Who's the guitarist?

--Since you ate Panda Express, 7-Eleven burritos and Tommy's all within a 12-hour period, how are you up and running today? I'd be velcroed to the shitter for days.

Good choice. Don't they call that place El Snore? Great White, Vixen and Slaughter is probably the highlight of the year for people there.

The only cool thing they have going is the logo for the minor league baseball team. I might get one of those caps!

I’m surprised there is no mention of a Dr. Pepper Big Gulp in this review.

"""""""""""""I'd be velcroed to the shitter for days."""""""""""""

I thought the same, immediately after reading he optioned Panda Express for food. #wtf

Then reading, "And I ate 7/11 burritos in a parking lot" made me double the #wtf

$tEvil

LAglamrocker's love for the genre is waning.

I guess the torch has officially been passed to MattleyCrue.

LAglamrocker: more likely to go to a U2 concert than a Slaughter concert.

It's only a matter of time before that selfie with Eddie Vedder.
