Well? Who wins the Cup this year? McDavid and the Oilers or Tkachuk and the Panthers? I was kind of hoping the Leafs would break their curse and make it to the Final, but alas, they did not. Guess I’ll go with Edmonton here since I’m not exactly thrilled about the prospect of the Panthers repeating. How about the rest of you hockey-loving Sludgers? (I know pieceofme is one of ‘em, as well as a few others here…)

I feel like this one is too close to call, honestly. With that said - I'm rooting for Edmonton. They've waited long enough.

Panthers have looked so dominant this post season. I think they’ll beat Edmonton 4-2.

All Canadians have is hockey. Seeing Canada cry after loss in NHL Finals is awesome especially to beach town Florida

Tkachuk been carrying an injury since the 4 nations. Hasn't looked right all playoffs.

Lundell - Luo - Marchand been our best line. And it's our "3rd" line. Marchand still a quality player at 37.

Oilers look like they are on a mission. And Skinner is dialed in right now. Which is crazy considering how he started vs. LA in the 1st round.

I'll be watching in the pub surrounded by primarily Oiler fans. There might be a few disgruntled Canucks cheering for the Panthers.

Stanley Cup will be making sand castles for a year
Hopefully the Canadian tears will be on the Cup before arriving in Florida

As a Bruins fan I want to root for Marchand, but I can't root for Tkachuk because he's so unlikable.

With Matthews' mysterious injury problems this year possibly clouding his future, TO are going to let Marner walk and throw a blank check at McJesus in 2026. Whether he signs it is another story

Once McDavid leaves, maybe your LA Kings team can finally get past that 1st round matchup against the Oilers. You guys must be sick of that matchup!

Yah, it's been a bitch. They need to go back to the 1-8 playoff seedings, having the same teams match up every year and losing really good teams in the first round just doesn't make sense to me.

It's because you don't understand the game - if you did, you wouldn't have difficulty 'finding the puck'. Best game in the world, you should give it more of a shot.

Yeah I agree! LA, Colorado, and Tampa were all solid teams this year but got eliminated in the 1st round due to the matchups.
