Damn, unless he has a REAL ID, he ain't getting on a plane without his passport, even if it's domestic. That would suck more than anything. Kinda weird that he just happens to have a picture of his backpack to share, or maybe not? Lol, I've been carrying around the same backpack for 20 years and couldn't produce a picture of it to save my life

It goes on the drum riser, right where I can see it... and I've had random Crew Guys say: "I got you, I will watch it."

Me: "No you won't! You worry about you, and leave my shit alone!"

Nope, unless you have a lock on the dressing room door and the only key. I keep my valuables in my rack drawer when on stage.

rule #1. If they aren't in your band, trust no one else. Regardless.

You can't trust people to not steal food from the break room fridge at work, never mind a show.
