Bands like Train are always on tour, releasing singles and doing stuff online. That's amazing because it's not thay they're "hip" (I can understand someone like Taylor Swift working her ass off these years cause the demand is there).

Buckcherry is up there for sure...

He's been on between 40 and 50 releases, and he's not even 50 yet... def a road warrior as well!

And, he tours yearly, not only in the U.S., but England, Australia and all over Europe.

As the CEO stated, the answer is Buckcherry. The band knocked out 230 dates right after pandemic in 1 year. That’s insane to see in this era.

Mike Tramp over the past few years with his "Songs of White Lion" band. He's been touring around the world nonstop. Pretty amazing for a guy that was quietly releasing solo records and doing solo acoustic shows for awhile.

Quiet Riot seems to always working most weeks.

my band has played more shows than that and 2 guys died.

Taking all things into account, like age and need to work hard I’m gonna give it to Metallica. I haven’t really cared much for them post ‘91, but they have always tried new things, toured their asses off and never seem to really call it in. They have been one of the most innovative bands out there over the years and I only wish I was more of a fan because if I was I wouldn’t not be disappointed in what they bring in the way of box sets, tours, etc. I’m sure they could have all kicked back and loved the easy/good life years and years ago but still remain on top of their game.

The owners are not even in the band. They are a very nice couple who do it for fun. They have a high-end contracting biz.

Some of the players do it as their main income, supplementing with teaching or side-jobs.

I have a day job, so mostly pop in on Saturdays or Sundays.

Using setlist.fm as a barometer, out of all the bands listed on this page, Buckcherry leads with 36 concerts during the first 5 months of 2025. Everyone else is below that, with Def Leppard at 3 shows so far this year. Meanwhile, Napalm Death did 82 shows in the first five months of this year. Guys in their 50s, playing grindcore in small clubs (they recently completed a two month US tour).

Still a bit under the radar after 25 years (by choice, they do everything themselves), but Blackberry Smoke deserves a vote. They're never not touring, with most years in the 200-date neighborhood. They basically only stop to record, and sometimes even that's done on a day or two off on tour (as two of their EPs can attest.) But for consistent, near non-stop triple-digit-date tours for a long ass time, these guys should get some credit.

Incredibly hardworking, humble band with a very loyal fanbase. And always kickass live.

The Struts deserve to be in the converation.
