This guy.
One of the first shows on his Farewell Tour, which actually WAS a Farewell Tour. No fanfare, no bullshit, no big final send-off, and no subsequent tours. He said he was gonna stop playing and he did, which IMHO is just another thing that adds to 'ol Bob's legendary status. One of the all-time greats.
Anyway, in this clip he's still letting it rip pretty well for being then 74? Always been a great song. I saw two shows on this tour and they both kicked ass. The December '18 show at Allstate Arena in Chicago is probably in my top-10 loudest/most energized shows I've seen. Crowd was fucking nuts that night.

*I kinda want a new screenname. Seriously. I barely watch racing anymore.

I deeply regret not seeing a show on this tour.

I saw the final tour when I was working in Albuquerque. Place was a shithole, but he made it sound great and feel like a first class arena. It was fantastic and I was so glad that I went.

I watched Seger play in 2013. He was long in the tooth but man, he was all heart. Seeing him in his golden years made the lyrics sound that much more earnest. Great songwriting. The band was super tight, Don Brewer from GFR on drums. Crowd was into the set big time.
