The shows had good looking women like a Keith Urban concert modern day. I have personally witnessed the women at a Great White show in 2025, it’s not that.

For years there have been rumors in and out that you were out of Poison. Iterate, please.

Years ago, I left because I got offered a very big record deal at Hollywood Records, so I left the band and signed with Hollywood. What happened is the album never came out. They paid me the money. But they never released the album.

Are there any songs on your album from that?

No. I'm allowed to use any of those songs because they own those songs. So with Poison, once time went by, we talked it out and we got back together and the last tour was really great. Then we figured we'd go in the studio this year. And we did an album. And that comes out June 13th. And I'm singing on that new album [Power to the People], as well.

Who came up with that flashy title?

That's mine. I wrote that for Samantha 7. I wasn't finished with it, and when Bret asked if I wanted to sing a song on the album, I said, "Sure."

Just my opinion, but Poison could have maintained a higher profile and draw over the last 20 years (maybe not Def Leppard or Motley Crue level, but close) if not for Bert diminishing the brand with his incessant and selfish man-whoring.

they invested/ paid a bunch of money?
Kinda like Crack a Smile,at least make “something” back on their investment.
I’d love to hear that music, especially when a new Poison tune is never going to happen. At least give us the CC solo project right after he left Poison. I’d bet my paycheck
that this sounds way better than Bret’s solo bs rereleased
with “another” version of Every Rose
Kelly Hanson was the 1st vocalist (Needle Park) and the record label supposedly didn’t think he had the talent lol.
Spike was next for the Hey Good Lookin cover and then crickets until 1999 reunion

My guess is they just wanted to cut their losses. Probably realized they had been sold a bill of goods, meaning C.C. was too messed up to do much. And combine that with the musical climate at the time, they just wrote it off and cut their losses.

Depending on how they do their bookkeeping, If a label decides to shelve an album, they can write off the expense as a loss and end up ahead of where they'd be if they release the album at tax time.

I don't know why they don't release a descent concert with interviews, behind the scenes footage etc. from :

1.1988 preferably opening for David Lee Roth
2. The reunion show from 1999 Detroit
3. Detroit - 2018

In my opinion all of these shows were wild and over the top.

I purchased the Live Raw & Uncut DVD and was fully disappointed.

Watched it once and once was enough.

It fucking sucked
