lol, love this guy...and not sure I know why.

Watching the Ozzy show....this fuck hasn't missed a beat in 35 years, that's fucking impressive. Always great stage presense too (except for his wardrobe). And so dedicated to Ozzy this entire time, that's the fucking best.

I mean, horrible interview...sounds like a dope. The only times he prob didn't get laid was when he opened his mouth. Besides that, so fucking good! Seems to have gotten better with age....that's not the norm.

Zakk is a beast and could probably play anything with anyone if he wanted to. Seems like he just wants to play music, and has been sucessful with all of his efforts.

He looks like he smells like pee and cigarettes.
Also looks like he goes to the Blue Oyster Bar after his shows.

He's definitely consistent, been ruining CRAZY TRAIN for decades.

Jake E. Lee was light years better. Ozzy got so much worse when he left.

On his first tour with Ozzy he looked like he auditioned for Poison but got rejected for making the others look old and scruffy.

He is still overcompensating for his 88-90 look. But No More Tears is the best Ozzy album without Randy and Zakk is a beast there.

very talented. I don't get the dirty biker look in kilts either. His playing is top notch but he over pick squeals way too much for me. plus, his guitars are fugly..lol.

Why? He's not wrong. And I'd argue it's Ozzy's best album, period, but that's not because of Zakk necessarily, it's because Lemmy wrote half the songs.

I agree No More Tears is ozzys weakest album. To me it's his pop album. Not even one good song on it. The song No More Tears was okay at first but after about 1 minute I've had enough.

I always liked his playing, melodies, and tone on the No More Tears album. He had a great run from No Rest through Book Of Shadows. He did the same BLS stuff for too long after that.

Hakk Mild is nowhere near Jake... I'll take Ultimate Sin over any Ozzy album with Hakk. I give him credit for being loyal to Ozzy and respecting his elders. His appearance makes me think he still drinks but by all accounts, he doesn't. He seems ok with Pantera I just don't like the down tuning with Ozzy (whether it's a Sharon requirement or not).

Anybody on this thread that thinks Zakk sucks is full of shit. You can say you hate his playing, but to say he sucks is fucking stupid. The guy has tons of instructional videos and guitar books by the biggest companies in guitar. If they handed that shit out, CC DeVille would have a ton of them.

He’s technically a gifted player. Sure he dresses like an idiot, his interviews are usually horrible, his guitars are ugly, even his tone is up for debate. Lots of things to not like, but to say he’s a HAKK is stupid.

PS they name HAKK is a hack joke…put some effort into it

Zakk lost me after Ozzmosis

I'm 50/50 on Zakk. His technical prowess is off the charts, but his creativity/compositional skills are meh.

It's why he is at his best playing Randy Rhoads or Dimebag or whatever.

Where? 'Cause it ain't on the Ozzy records. Randy and Jake smoke him and it's nowhere close. His one shining moment was NMT, but that's way more heavy than shreddy.
