Ya, we were right up front for this. I'm not really a fan...and she had recently cancelled a canadian tour cause of voice issues.

But she was amazing. Shocked that she looked like she hasn't aged at all..and she sounded fantastic.

Not sure what is going on with these Canadian women (McLauchlan, Alanis, Avril, Amanda Marshall) who look and sound great for their age.

They don’t live in the US, so their cortisol levels are low.

Not much of a fan, but indeed that third album (the one with "Possession") was REALLY good. That's where she found the right mix of melody and really great production. But then she fell out with her drummer and started playing less interesting tunes and changes. Once she went back to being more of a "folkie," I think she lost the plot.

I agree. That album was huge. I bet she could pull off an arena comeback tour in the States with the right marketing and someone like Jewel opening.

I just saw her @ a 5k seater in Boston maybe a year and a half ago? She was playing the entire popular record. Not a huge fan, went with my niece, & it was pretty cool. She sounded great as did the band & venue on the whole. It wasn't sold out & I found a lot of it sounded the same, so I got bored after :45 min/an hour?

Great song. I liked that album. She looks like Maraih Carey 2.0 to me here.

I worked 3 shows with her last summer in May/June last year. She was an absolute pleasure. Seriously sweet person.
