Jani Lane - Reworked Songs AMAZING!

Post by Rob Lane »

Producer Extraordinaire CHRIS LANEY has reworked some classic JANI LANE songs and just WOW!!!

"With the heartfelt blessing of his daughter Maddi, I’ve reimagined some songs in Jani’s spirit — how Warrant might sound today if he were still writing, still singing, still leading with soul.
He was Warrant. A poet. A firestarter. A genius. This is just the beginning. More is coming"

I'm happy that somebody is messing around with the Jabberwocky songs, and that his daughter is cool with it, but also, maybe just release the original Jabberwocky songs in high quality. I don't need a "reimagined" version with a shitty AI video. Just release the original tracks as Jani had written them. If Jani wanted them to sound like Warrant, he would have done it himself.

Also, I've never heard of "producer extraordinaire Chris Laney." I guess he's that extraordinary that nobody knows who he is.

"""""""""""producer extraordinaire Chris Laney"""""""""""""

Chris is a superb guy, awesome musician, studio wizard and more. Nothing but nice things to say about him.

I have worked with Chris on a few things... he did some stuff for Shameless, and a few solo songs I did...

Including, everyone's favorite... Chris mixed "Shag-A-Doo Loli Pop" for those keeping score. :D

Chris Laney is an awesome producer (for 80's hair band inspired music), and should be the "go-to-guy" for any of the bands we talk about on these boards looking to put out a decent album.

The albums he produced for Zinny J. Zan (ex. Shotgun Messiah) and Steevie Jaimz (ex. Tigertailz) are great (songs and production).

And his 2 solo albums are really good.
