Cheapest and most expensive cities to live or vacation in the us, and why?

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

Cheapest and most expensive cities to live or vacation in the us, and why?

Post by Ale »

In your opinion, you americans in a message board for hair metal bands and not an article in the Daily News, what's the difference between coasts and different states? Is it really that much cheaper living in a little town in the center of Georgia than in Los Angeles?

Serious questions, before I answer.

How old are you?

Male or Female?

What city/country do you live in?

Serious answer of course: I'm a 43 year old male, musician from Buenos Aires Argentina, musician that isn't going to be playing any show for the next 6 months (never happened in 15 years, sucks) so be going to be asking dumb questions here, I guess. Sorry in advance, but I'm always interested about different cultures and way of living.

Housing might be cheaper but on the flip side jobs are harder to come by, groceries more expensive and services such as medical care may be lacking. Where I live the high cost of living is offset by being able to get by without a car and having just about everything I need in walking distance.

So same as in most countries: cheap housing is where quality of life sucks. And usually there is more crime and drugs there as well.

Just save up your nickels and dimes until you’re not one of the poors. Otherwise a couple posters from North Dakota would be happy to show you around.

All the music hubs like LA, NYC, and Nashville will be expensive. You can do Vegas on the cheap if you stay in the less posh hotels and take public transportation.

Bra-fucking-vo.

Every time I'm ready to give up on this place, someone comes OON with some crazy genius inspirado.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.
