Ricky Rocketts new band "Rockett Mafia"

WTF, this is some amateur hour bullshit, and I don't understand Dick Reams "hard-on" for vocalist Brandon Gibbs?
While not "bad", this band is nothing more than the type of "weekend warrior"/Dad cover band you find at your "Anytown USA", Wing Joint/Sports Bar, on any given weekend.
Also, in some interview Rikki made made it sound like they were choosing songs that we not overplayed........
, but the clips on youtube are "cover band 101".......
What rare gems are they working up for the next show?, "Hurts So Good", " I Want You To Want Me" and "I love Rock & Roll".......
And....Mick Sweda is totally wasting his time.

its a paycheck. Guess Rikki really wanted to go out this year. Tyson Leslie is also in the band. Good guy and excellent musician!

Exactly what else should Sweda be doing in 2025? His best days were 35+ years ago

Gibbs sounds terrible.
I remember him having a pretty decent voice when he did Special Guests... he's just yelling in these clips.
Everything else is fine. Mick is a hell of a player.
