He should go back in the studio write different lyrics change the guitars change the drums and then he might have a good song

Agreed!
I had higher hopes for him as a solo artist. His last record was so/so at best and the new singles are not great either.
However, they are more promising than the last two Bon Jovi albums!
Especially with Jon’s vocal problems, a Richie theater tour would probably do well.

How far do I need to fast forward to hear him rock? I’m at a minute and a half in and evidently haven’t got there yet.

Omg that background noise hurts my ears, it’d be ok without the noise and the do do do … interesting solo tone and the beginning of a good solo at the end that never materialized,

Lyrics kinda suck but I've always been impressed with his vocal phrasing. Way better than JBJs. His phrasing to me at least makes in interesting and he has far fewer miles on his voice so still has power.
