I saw them a couple times with Ross Childress & Shane Evans & they were awesome. Super guitar heavy, with Ed playing a ton of of it. I saw them after covid & they are nothing like they were. They were entertaining, as I like the songs, but they are way more mellow now.

Was a big fan back in the day, but based on the 2 concerts I saw, they were totally lame as a live band. Great musicians, great songs, but essentially "band nerds". Ed Roland was totally awkward as a front-man.

Always good when your opening band plays that. Signifies a great headliner coming up.

All I know are the hits but I would check this out.
If it comes out on streaming where I don’t have to pay extra to see it that is.

Saw the documentary a couple of weeks ago - enjoyable.
Saw Collective Soul last night. Fourth time seeing them. Really good. Liked Our Lady Peace too. Left before Live.

I am a casual fan of CS. Saw them play after Tesla in 2022 in traverse city during cherry festival. Jeff Keith was gacked out. Sounded terrible.
Ed and CS came on after Tesla and sounded better. But Ed had a pink suit on. He thought he looked cool.

More like Collective Soul-less. The most bland sounding band I’ve ever heard. Singer makes Joe Elliot sound like Sam Cooke.
Their CDs sounded compressed like MP3s before MP3s.

Del Taco always gives me bloody shit.
At least they don't taste like cardboard like Taco Bell does now.

I've seen them as direct support and that seems to be a place where they can shine. 55 minutes of all hits and they pretty much win the crowd over. Couldn't imagine a 75 minute headline set from them.
