Wow, I thought it was a hoax, but it's being widely reported now.

Glad he got that final show that he always wanted. I can’t think of another rock musician who brought me more joy, from my first Ozzfest (1997) at 13 to the show earlier this month to all the bands Ozzfest introduced me to.

Assisted suicide, maybe? Surrounded by loved ones, he did not look like he was three weeks from death. Plenty of footage of him talking with the performers, etc.

RIP

Not a lot of guys actually reach legend status, but in our world, Ozzy Osbourne is definitely a legend. This sucks.

The fact that he was able to do that final show while being that close to the end, is just the most fitting ending for metal's biggest legend.

Exactly what he did, held on for his last show and gave everything he had left.

Wow can’t get onto Blabbermouth . Their server must be flooded.

Wow so sad , but is nice that he was able to perform for his last time this month and say goodbye on his terms. Was a fantastic day and so glad to be part of it is a small way .

RIP the one of the greatest metal voices and he provided us with amazing timeless music.

That massive sendoff he had a couple of weeks ago is definitely a silver lining.

What a career, what a massive list of accomplishments.

Andrew Watt (his producer) may be working on a posthumous Ozzy album. He recorded a few demos during 2024-25.

Good thing he didn’t do his last show August 5

Always kind of bummed Ozzy-Tyoe O Negative - Sepultura show got cancelled

Got give Ozzy credit he always had awesome bands opening No More Tears era- only real reason I wanted to go

His MTV show was awesome- especially when the family wasn’t stars until 2nd season

I loved hearing and reading people bitching about leaving Ozzfest from Devore! Legendary

My first real introduction to Ozzy my was because of WWF
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

FUCK!! And totally agree that his final show being just days ago will absolutely add to the legend. Never be another!!

This is from 2008 at the Roxy on Sunset. I was shooting Camp Freddie with Dave Navarro and the man showed up and KILLED with Crazy Train and Paranoid.
