Wife hates them both.

My wife has been to a lot of concerts and she can't stand Lamb of God.

She is really not in their demographic though lol

I was impressed, they bring it live for sure.

I can not put on Slayer or Primus in the car …. Ever . Two seconds in and she will give me the death stare. Is this fucking Primus !!! Turn this shit off .

The wife is pretty good about most stuff I listen to. I'd say Phil Anselmo is her upper limit with those kind of vocals. Her brother loves Pantera so that makes sense. She thinks Megadeth is super talented but isn't a fan of Dave's vocals. I don't mind Dave at all but I get it. Basically I know enough to not play Job For A Cowboy or Strapping Young Lad and beyond when she's around.


Although one time I threw on the video for Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats' song 'Melody Lane' and she said 'This is a snuff film!' LOL

Pretty much all of them. She likes soul and light jazz. But when I got obsessed with Feuerschwanz last year and decided to go to Paris to see them, she wanted to come along. I said "you'll hate it". She said "play some". And she loved it. So she went to her first ever metal show.

I took her to a Mercyful Fate show, which she seemed cool about at the show. She complained afterwards that it was blasphemous, maybe a step too far for a christian.

I haven't had any SO who could stand Iron Maiden, or more than a song here and there of Judas Priest and Motörhead. Also all seemed to dislike Depeche Mode more or less even if not HR/HM.

Stuff like Queensryche, Rush and Manowar was more palatable, one even became a fan of 90s Rush - RTB and Test for Echo.

Your wife has good taste. Both those bands are awful. She is being very logical.
