He was opening for Rick Springfield.

I saw the tour a few weeks ago. Waite was doing that with a lot of the songs. I get that he's probably bored out of his mind singing the same songs for 40 years,but give the people what they want. Nobody wants to hear a freeform jazz interpretation of Head First.

If we are talking about giving the people what they want then my request would be to drop that turd of a song from the set.
All others are great and I really liked his stripped down no keyboards versions of these songs when I seen him in vegas last year.. maybe Im just a different fan of his music, but I see nothing wrong with what hes doing..
