Golden Earring George Kooymans dead at 77

George Kooymans, the guitar player and songwriter in Golden Earring, passed away today.
He had been suffering from ALS.
Check out Radar Love, When the lady smiles and Twilight Zone.

Radar Love is horrible sounding song
White Lion could not even make it sound listenable
Big Game first listen it was obvious this was worst song on cd.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Granted, a lot of people have likely heard "Radar Love" and "Twilight Zone" on the radio, as they were huge hits and are still awesome classic rock tunes, but yeah, I doubt many casual listeners could tell you the guitarist's name on either of those songs. That said, he still rips on both of 'em...RIP, George.

THANK YOU. Horrible song. I wanted to strangle whoever convinced my beloved White Lion to cover that wretched trash, and then release it as a single??? WTF
