Your favourite Ozzy solo song

Post by pieceofme »

You can only choose one.

Shot in the Dark is my choice. Such a great 80s vibe to it.

Thirded. "Shot in the Dark" rips, though "Bark at the Moon" is a close second for me.

Almost impossible... :D

Today I'll go with Diary of a Madman.

I'm also really loving the duet he did with Elton John - ordinary man.

Many hate it, but So Tired. When Ozzy died, he made the news here and the music was: So Tired.

Diary Of A Madman. It was a joy to record the cover a few years ago. Going through all the layers in the middle section made me appreciate it even more.

If Ozzy had put out Blizzard of Ozz and the Diary album within a year of each other even without the title track it still would’ve been a hell of a two album run, but that song is a masterpiece unlike any other.

Thank you for taking the bait. But.......it's true. It's my number one and in my conversation of favorite guitar solos from anyone.

Find it really boring and a weak opener to an album.

probably Bark at the Moon. Close 2nd is Crazy Train. Lowkey underrated favorite is Waiting for Darkness.

I'm going with Flying High Again, it's fun, it never gets old, and Randy's solo rips.

I like all of the first two solo records equally (except MAYBE No Bone Movies  ) but I will go with the first one I heard being played on a boom box by some burnouts smoking weed out beyond the sports field when I was skipping gym once...Flying High Again.

Miracle Man is up there. For nostalgia, we would crank Suicide Solition as kids, we loved it.
