Surprised that Eddie Trunk wasn’t at the Ozzy farewell
I’m very surprised that Eddie Trunk wasn’t at the Ozzy farewell . Nobody can deny his contributions to the rock and metal community as a whole . He should have been asked to cover the event .
The career longevity that bands like Sabbath , Zeppelin , Aerosmith , etc have is largely in part due to Eddie Trunk . He has put so many metal bands on the map , given them exposure that they wouldn’t normally have .
His exclusion from Back to the Beginning was strange !

Trunk could have walked in with Lita Ford wig and enjoyed the show, but he couldn’t get free ticket. So he sat home in one of his mansions ordering Pizza Hut
Trunk is worlds biggest poser
I will always do my best to go see last Mark Slaughter show

You new here or to metal?
I’m completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. These two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

Sharon would never in a million years let Eddie near anything in Ozzy’s orbit. Surprised Geezer didn’t get sacked from the band because he lives close to a Eddie and has appeared on his show. You don’t get access when all you do is scream about Bob Daisley’s contributions.

Let's see, they could have gone with the guy that 95% of the world won't know or recognize, and that's being generous, and of the 5% that does know who he is, 75% of them can't stand him. Or Jason Momoa. Real tough call.

Nobody in Europe (or the rest of the world) knows who he is, if they are not members of this board.

He had “fans” in Japan that wanted his autograph when there with Sammy last year. Fans were waiting for him outside his hotel. He talked about this on his podcast.
I mean we know he is his own biggest ball washer but this is next level.

At least what what HE says

Either way, he could have gone as a fan, if he’d be lucky enough to score some tickets (a lot of fans travelled from abroad) or as a journalist covering the event.
But he was probably waiting for an invitation that didn’t arrive.

Never mind Trunk, where was "everyman" Dave Grohl? Has he fallen out of favor as being the "go to guy" for any, and every rock/metal related event, and/or the "perfect replacement" for any iconic band who has lost a member?

Eddie's show is not on Ozzy's Boneyard because she hates him.
He had to move to Hairnation which really isn't as good a fit for his show.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your souljoey78 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 8:34 am I’m very surprised that Eddie Trunk wasn’t at the Ozzy farewell . Oh, I’m sure Mr Everyman is on a very strict and calculated “when to re-appear” in the public eye schedule put together by multiple high level publicists that make millions a year. You know, just like your average Joe.Wild Obsession wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 8:06 am Never mind Trunk, where was "everyman" Dave Grohl? Oh god how dare Joey not know the status of Trunk and the Osbournes...
I actually didn't know he was on the outs with them either so the thought did cross my mind "Where was Eddie Trunk?"
I'm glad he wasn't there though he's a C rate D bag.

He was taken off Boneyard before the ink on the contract was even dry.

Maybe because his show/show are not broadcast outside of the States? Sure you can find his podcast if you know who he is first.
What would he be known for, do you think?
Re: Surprised that Eddie Trunk wasn’t at the Ozzy farewell
