It wouldn’t surprise me.

Kelly posted a video of Ozzy 2 days before he died sitting at the table and he appeared to be as good as could be expected … wasn’t in bed as I’d thought he’d be … seemed well … probably stroke or heart attack.

Every time I post (forever now) the browser takes forever and sometimes just freezes completely (although the post goes through) so I automatically just open another tab while it’s doing its thing.

There were rumors about him going to Switzerland to do assisted suicide last week, but he died in England at home. There doesn't seem to be any suspicion that he took his life at all.

Ah, OK. My wife was reading something about the suicide pact thing online and I guess someone was speculating.

Lita Ford didn't help matters when in her interview w/ Eddie Trunk she said that she knew that he wasn't well and referenced knowing about "the Switzerland thing", and purposely or not, Eddie stopped her and "corrected" her that he played his last show in Birmingham. The Switzerland rumor is that Ozzy had already pre-paid for euthanasia there in the event that he became comatose, however passed away peacefully a home.

Being able to end your own life peacefully & painlessly at a time of your own choosing, with the help of a trained medical technician should be a basic human right for all people with a terminal or seriously debilitating illness

The religious right wants to prevent everyone from having this right.

It’s a fact if you sit outside long enough someone will walk by and kill you.

Here’s my idea, call the cops to your house run out with an empty weapon and let them fire away, THAT’S how we do it in The Great State Of Texas!

Sully Erna was on Boneyard and said that Ozzy went off his medication for the performance because it numbed him too much.

No idea if that would add any risk though if it was just to address symptoms.

I’m truly curious what the cocktail really involved. Guessing Loads of Adderall mixed with a muscle relaxer to quell the Parkinson’s, a Corticosteroid and a serviceable shot of adrenaline.

One of my close friends Dad has had Parkinson’s for the last couple of years. He uses a walker and you can barely hear his voice whisper when you try to speak with him. Not to mention the amount of medication he takes on the daily to keep the side effects down. He definitely has not had this type of energy and focus at any point.

Say it louder for the people on the right. It's insane to me that a so called civilized society can be so against people wanting to die with dignity. On the other hand, it's something that often happens behind closed doors and isn't talked about for obvious reasons, but still, it needs to be accessible for anyone who wants/needs it.

If you don't have an opiate habit then by far the best way to go is a heroin or fentanyl overdose. You would get a very pleasurable warm feeling for about 20 to 30 seconds and then you just fall asleep. It's as peaceful a way to go as there can be. Of course then you have to die with people thinking that you were a junkie, but just leave a note explaining that wasn't the case. At that point who really cares what others think if you're truly suffering. If you don't have a habit it takes a very small amount to do the job. Probably 30 to 40 dollars and you'd be good.

If you've ever had a friend die of a heroin or fentanyl overdose you can at least know that they didn't suffer. The last thing they knew was a very relaxing feeling. I honestly cannot think of a better way to die. As long as it is done on your terms. I've never understood people who shoot themselves or slit their wrists or hang themselves when all they have to do is take a couple puffs of something. Dying of old age is terrible. Your organs failing as you lay in your own piss and shit. Heart attacks are bad. Dying in car wrecks is no good. Drowning or burning are terrible. Freezing to death is really bad. Falling to your death isn't cool. Getting shot isn't good and it leaves a horrible mess. There really are only a couple good ways to check out.

I've accidentally overdosed on opiates a number of times and I threw up like Linda Blair every time. It's horribly unpleasant. I guess you have to have the right combo.

there are several website suggesting that is what he did. Due to how everything played out at the time. Definitely not picking a fight with you over it though. Everyone knows Bowie did everything his way. I come in peace and was just sharing.
