Why does Blas play with Pearcy and not Slaughter?

Is SEP a better paying gig?
He sounds awesome with Pearcy. Fantastic drummer!

I think so. I saw them a few years ago and no offense to anyone who still likes them they were horrible. The drummer was the only one who sounded good. Songs were tuned down so low they sounded unrecognizable. Mark's voice is shot and Strum's bass sounded off key the whole show.tylamonroe wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 10:20 pm Is Slaughter still even touring? I don't even hear about them around here except as a dig
I think any Slaughter shows these days are just Mark and Strum with two other dudes that happen to have a week off to rehearse and play something like Rocklahoma.tylamonroe wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 10:20 pm Is Slaughter still even touring? I don't even hear about them around here except as a dig
I watched Slaughter play earlier this year with Great White and it’s the same old “just enough” casino show. I’m certain the money and accommodations are good and all, but when do you say enough to not changing anything about your live set, appearance or set list? If l posted video of Slaughter in 2010, my 2025 video would look identical. They show up and play going through the motions and even the fans know they don’t give a shit.dweezil wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 6:54 pmI think any Slaughter shows these days are just Mark and Strum with two other dudes that happen to have a week off to rehearse and play something like Rocklahoma.tylamonroe wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 10:20 pm Is Slaughter still even touring? Vince Neil must pay Strum pretty well to keep him around playing Motley songs on the off-days from the actual Motley tour.
The only change to the setlist in the last 15 years is this year they added the song ''Unknown Destination'' from the Fear No Evil record.ParaDime77 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 7:28 pmI watched Slaughter play earlier this year with Great White and it’s the same old “just enough” casino show. Saw them at Mohegan Sun casino maybe 1.5 years ago. They had a longer headline set (they were at the Wolf Den, which is just one band per night), and they added a couple of extra songs. Maybe Days Gone By off the second record. I could be wrong about that one, but definitely a few extra songs.fromanotherplace82 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 8:43 pmThe only change to the setlist in the last 15 years is this year they added the song ''Unknown Destination'' from the Fear No Evil record.ParaDime77 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 7:28 pmI watched Slaughter play earlier this year with Great White and it’s the same old “just enough” casino show.
