Did he ask them why they shot their tour rehearsal clip on a potato?

Re: Joe and Brad Interview with Rick Beato
To quote the great, late Greg Giraldo:
"Joe Perry looks like he had a 3-day crack binge on the sun." My god, he looked RIDICULOUS. And what a weird presentation: can't look Rick in the eye, fidgeting endlessly, long tangents, and barely cracks a smile. Brad came off as normal, doddering old man.
I think Rick is a great interviewer: doesn't get in the way, let's people talk, often gets interesting different tidbits. This time he probably should have gotten in the way a bit, because Perry was not a great interviewee.

Those musical clips were a bit too long. It's strange seeing Joe and Brad just sit there awkwardly waiting for the music to be over.

Is Joe Perry getting a spray-tan on the regular? That doesn't look like a natural skin color...
Crazy, he will be 75 next month...
Also, I cannot imagine wearing all those necklaces, bracelets, etc...
I stopped wearing 99% of anything, including a watch by the time I was 30. Any accessory outside of a belt is useless to me!

This is honestly the most coherent I've ever heard Joe Perry.

Yeah, it scares me to think how much longer they've got, especially now that Ozzy's gone.

Joe Perry looks like a hot dog on a rotisserie at 7/11 that has been there for a week and forgotten.

The first YouTube comment is the best:
“Let’s all take a moment to thank Joe for taking a break from tanning on the surface of the sun to come down to Earth for this interview.”
And, yeah, his interviews are often a tough watch. He is not exactly a cerebral guy. His book isn’t too bad, I credit David Ritz.

I don’t know why these guys feel obligated to continue doing this. My dad is 78 years old and he looks 30 years younger than these guys.

Look, I love vintage Aero -
And I think Beato is a great interviewer.........
BUT, just no on this whole thing including the bad clothing on Beato and the rattan furniture vibe from the old Pier One.
Guys, really - You can't speak and you all look like shit.
Should've called it 10 years ago, but couldn't get the farewell tour insured (allegedly, of course).
Stay home and watch Rockford Files or Gunsmoke, please..................

Re: Joe and Brad Interview with Rick Beato
Why do a number of people have a significant dislike of Beato? Another quote I read on Sludge was somebody said that "Rick Beato is the kind of guy that sniffs his own farts" which I actually thought was funny, but I just don't understand the hate from some. I suppose he might be the male equivalent of a girl who is overly "bubbly." But I think he is a good interviewer. He is one of the best for not interrupting, he has a pretty vast knowledge of not only the history of music (although not quite as vast as mine if I do say so) as well as vast knowledge of composition and theory. Also, very importantly he shares a ton of that knowledge with people for free. Yes, he is often pushing his "Beato Book" but he has shared pretty much everything that is in it on YouTube. His interview with Nuno (both of them) are two of my favorite interviews ever.
I don't know...I just don't understand some of the criticism. I think his cause is noble. The only thing that might be concerning is...has he ever mentioned if he has a wife or not?
Re: Joe and Brad Interview with Rick Beato
Everything seemed A-OK to me. But I converted to mp3 and put on the phone for some for some downtime in Hollywood today.
Some a bit technical for me but overall enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing JPP and really wish we had a headline show though I was already going to see The Two anyway

How many Rockers in their 70s still have the open-shirt look to show of their chests? Keith and Mick? Wait..they might be in their 80s.
