Heaven and Hell, it's just timeless, no Goodbye to Romance nonsense.

Blizzard of Ozz no contest.
Re: Sabbath Vs Ozzy
A miserable Solomon-like choice.
As much as I love Randy, and recognize Blizzard is a masterpiece, I actually think Heaven and Hell has actually aged a little better.
It still sounds sonically great and huge. The songs are still varied and gorgeous (except Lady Evil).
And even though there are plenty of Dioisms in the lyrics, Lonely is the Word, Die Young, Wishing Well, and heaven and Hell "speak to me" more than Mr. Crowley or Crazy Train or much of Blizzard.
Dare I say it just feels like a "mature" and even "classy" hard rock album: even the front cover art is so different from the normal hard rock monstrosities (compare with Blizzard of Ozz ... and, yes, Born Again).
Everything just came together with Heaven and Hell.
I gotta go with Heaven and Hell.

This should be a poll of which classic song did you get sick of hearing first:
Crazy Train
Or
Heaven and….<insert some <Rainbow/Dio or some other shit medley (fucking autocorrect) of songs here > Hell

Both have solid songs, but I think Blizzard… is the bigger classic, so I’m going with it.

Blizzard. I like all of it except Dee and No Bone Movies.
H&H, I only like around half of it.

I had to take H&H by a slight margin. Now ….if it was Diary vs. Mob Rules , Ozzy takes that one by a long shot.

I think I'd go with Diary too, but I had to think about it. The first side of each album is great.kytepunches wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 11:53 am I had to take H&H by a slight margin. Now ….if it was Diary vs. Mob Rules , Ozzy takes that one by a long shot.
Just like I had to think about Blizzard vs, Heaven and Hell. I'll give that one to Ozzy too, but not by much.
