So, we'll see if Pawel will be back.
Chuck took the gig even though he had Alice Cooper gigs on the same dates, so I guess Scorpions pay significantly better or he already knows Pawel won't be back...

He had had some pretty serious spine surgery last year... Based on the clips from this show he's slow but actually moving BETTER than he was before that. At 77 the vocals in this show are about as good as you could hope for and there's no sign he's using any tapes. Not sure what the deal was with that other clip.

klaus is 77 so maybe a small pass but, he is definitely showing old man ways. he is behind the beat and that's got to be a heck of a mic to pick up that ft distance between his mouth and the mic. he is also shuffling his feet.

Vince and Dave weren't ever known for being great live singers, even when they were in their prime, so watching them struggle live four decades later is exactly what we've come to expect. Klaus was a very talented and powerful vocalist, and managed to keep things at a high level for a long time. I just checked a few Scorpions clips from 2015 and Klaus sounded really great for his age. These recent performances highlight just how much he's declined over the past decade. Depressing, sure, but it had to happen eventually.

I thought VISA immediately with all the current immigration issues. Burning Witches just had to scrub their 2025 tour because no one in the band other than Courtney could get over here.
Pawel's been with the band for 21 years and is their longest serving Bassist (even longer than Buchholz), I don't see them getting rid of him unless something major happened we don't know about.
Everyone knew Kottak was a fuckup.

Wow, watch the end starting at around 3:15. They mess up and get off the track. You can see Klaus isn't even singing and his voice is coming out of the speakers, so obviously tracks. A crew member on the side of the stage is motioning that they aren't synced up to the track.

As KeyofGee alluded to, there's no way you can hold a mic 16 inches from your face and be heard like that.
Not only is Klaus too old to sing, he's too old to even pretend to sing.

I went into that hoping for it to be good. Sadly, it wasn't.
Klaus was "ok" but man, they totally lost it in the solo. They covered it up decently enough but Mattias skipped some phrases in the solo to throw it all off.
If this was a bar band, I'd be like, "Hey, that's OK, it was close enough."
But, this is THE band, making solid money for a performance like this.
Mickey Dee, however old he might be, is sounding great. He keeps good time and still can play.

To me, the fact that he's holding the mic away from his face is proof that he's singing for real. When you're syncin', you want to keep that thing right in front of your lips, so people can't tell they don't match
