These bands all came out towards the later end of the hairband era. Which one of these bands had the most talent and should have blown up had they come out earlier or had the musical climate been better?

The correct answer is Sleeze Beez but they weren’t included in your poll.

I don't remember any songs from many of those bands. Too much time would be involved for me to effectively participate in this poll.

All great bands (with the exception of Pariah whom I'm not as familiar with), but of these I'll go with Slik Toxik. The Canadian Skid Row, and Doin' the Nasty is just perfect sleaze.

Yeah these bands didn't even have a baseline level of success.

Of those bands Tuff would be 2nd to last

Ghost mystery early on LSD singer would have been a good guess. Takes brilliant mind to do LSD and Ghost

Kingofthehill should have had Nelson success, they were built for that life

That doesn’t mean some of them…a number of them weren’t good enough.

I’ll second that they deserve to be in the poll. I’m not sure they’d be my top pick but I liked them better than LSD, Wildside and a couple of others mentioned.

From the list, Tyketto. There are 2-3 songs that should have been hits and part of the hair metal canon by now. Timing, and maybe the band was too faceless for 1991 when the market was flooded with new-ish hair metal bands.

Not mentioned on the list - Pretty Maids, Icon and Slash Puppet. If the world was fair, they would have Jackyl's and Slaughter's platinum albums.

Yeah these bands didn't even have a baseline level of success.
Life Sex And Death had some success with the song ''School's for Fools'' which was featured in an episode of Beavis and Butthead. They used to rerun that episode a lot.

I know you pimp Icon relentlessly, but imo they were for people who thought that Dokken were too tough and edgy.

Honorable Mention: T-Ride

If based on nothing else than the demos for the second album, they had more to offer than 1 album.

Wildside is a fantastic album. By far the best of the available choices IMO. They were just toon late to the game.

Danger Danger should have been on the list Epic Records screwed them over by not releasing Don’t Walk Away as the third single IMO. Their fate was sealed.
