I'm trying to remember the rock band t shirts I've had.

I'm thinking that RUMOURS, BOSTON (The space ship), were my favourites.

At some point I just aged out if it. Maybe 35.

I should add that I did have a Dundee mifflin T that I wore age 40

No more real tour shirts here. I have a couple Dorothy shirts, a Nirvana one, and a couple Cramps shirts. Not into graphic tees any more.

I've never understood the too old for band / concert shirts line of thinking. You're never too old to rock n roll. NEVAAAR!!!

I think at some point I tried dressing like an adult for a few years.

Then became self employed and answerable / interacting with almost no one except when I go to shows and in which case a T shirt can be a nice conversation starter. Or when I gotta throw something on to go to the store.

I don't think there's an age limit. Especially if you're still attending concerts and buying new ones.

I wear them nearly every day. And I'm probably a little older than most of you.
I have dozens of concert tees and hoodies.
I have no dress code at my job, so in the summer it's shorts and t-shirts, and in the winter it's jeans/leggings, and hoodies.

Still buying band shirts when i think they look good. These days I don't generally have many garish "metal" ones, except the Slayer 'final tour' (the original final tour, not the latest one ); they're mostly just the band logo. Bit yesterday I saw two people older than me in Iron Maiden tour shirts and another in a Leppard / Crue tour shirt and they looked OK

I'm 46 and I wear it everyday, even at work (I'm a Psychologist). I don't know if this is cultural or not (I don't care at all and nobody down here seems to give two f**ks about it too)... All I know is that people at my age prefer Marvel over DC...

I don't very often anymore, but I reserve my right to wear a cool band shirt whenever the hell I feel like it. Preferably shootin' pool in a dingy bar.

I was eatiing in Spain the other day, the outside terrace was packed with lots of passing tourists eyeing the area looking for a free table...I saw a dude with a Dunder Mifflin tshirt, told him we were leaving in 5 minutes, that shirt helped him and his family get my table!

I'll wear band shirts forever, wore my British Steel shirt yesterday.

I think a Bowie T Shirt would be the "coolest" tee anyone could wear in a retro or vintage situation.

Whether it was Stardust, or a young American design.

Why would there be an age limit to wearing something featuring things you enjoy ?

Ancient 63 here and its what i mostly wear.

I still wear them and purchase them at shows I attend. That being said, I can't stand the ones that have overly huge graphics that take up the entire front of the shirt and I also don't like the overly soft shirts that cling to the body. I prefer ones that are heavier gauge.

What else would I wear? A plain-colored polo from Kohl's?

56 here and currently sporting a Hüsker Dü shirt. Went to see Winger last night and wore a Sleeze Beez shirt.

I find that, like any piece of clothing, is more dependent on the "good-lookingness" of the person, and the dorkiness of the apparel, rather than age.

I like to wear band shirts still, maybe more than I have in a long time but more band logo shirts than anything. Definitely less stated stuff. I'd never wear a gaudy shirt like that second KISS shirt above, but the logo one above it, yes.

I’m pissed that I lost my Spinal Tap “Break Like The Wind” tour T-shirt, because even their tour merch were funny as shit.
