Songs with Nonsense Lyrics

Sometimes songs will be written with random words and phrases. There is often no underlying theme or message. In one Lennon doc, it has him telling a fan that Dig A Pony was a nonsense song and he shouldn't apply it to his own life. Does it turn you off when songs are written like that? What are some of your favorite songs with nonsense lyrics?

Fire Woman
Seems there's this cat twisting on a hot tin shack, there's smoke on the horizon and this Fire Woman is to blame for all of it.
Smoke stack lightening, lord have mercy.
Shake it baby!

Hoodoo Voodoo (Lyrics by Woodie Guthery, recorded by Wilco & Billy Bragg)
Someone’s gonna Break Your Heart (FoW). Less nonsense words, more that each line has nothing to do with any other line.

Every Ratt song is like a jumble of random words thrown together. You can kind of MAKE them mean something when you hear them, but the meaning isn't really there in just the words.
I mean, just what teh fuck is this?
Out on the streets, that's where we'll meet
You make the night, I always cross the line
Tightened our belts, abused ourselves
Get in our way, we'll put you on your shelf
...or...
You take the midnight subway train
You're callin' all the shots
You're struck by lightning
You're in love
Oasis has a lot of shit that is just word salad too, but they somehow pull it off. I think they just choose cool sounding phrases and throw them in whether they mean anything or not.

Another for for Def Leppard. I like them a lot, but I feel like Joe Elliot is just saying stuff, like his vocals are just another instrument and he was forced to sing words to make it culturally acceptable. Might as well scat, then harmonize the slow scats during the choruses. Pour Some Sugar on Me, Armageddon It are two examples of the "catchy, but no idea what you're talking about" genre.

Yes, sir, no, sir
Don't come close to my
Home sweet home
Can't catch no dose
Of my hot tail poontang sweetheart
Sweathog ready to make a silk purse
From a J. Paul Getty and his ear
With her face in her beer
Great song, but WTF?

Nonsense-but-not-nonsense goes to Extreme's "Play With Me" from the Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure soundtrack.
Ironically some of the least cringeworthy lyrics from this band when you realize they are all about childhood games, and it actually comes off pretty clever, combined with a crazy good solo from Nuno.
So...silly lyrics? Sure. But does it work for this song? Yep.

What be this and what be that
And why ya gotta look like that
I just looked at him and kinda laughed and said
Hey man, I am cool, I AM THE BREEZE
Like someone said, almost any KISS song.
There are a ton of songs that sound like nonsense without knowing the underlying context the writer had in their head. Take Overkill by Men At Work (love the song but sort of nonsense without the context).
