LA Guns only touring the US

So LA Guns minus Tracii ((Riley/Blades version) was touring all over the place, also in Europe and even Australia at some point.
Now they are firing on all cylinders again they never leave the US.
I read online recently that Phil said the reason is they had a good thing going in the US.
GTF outta here. Any band of their caliber can pull off 5-6 UK dates easily. Add a few Scandinavian dates and u have a 2 week tour at least and that’s not even adding the rest of Europe.
Which got me thinking… When was the last time they played outside the US?
Also, Phil is from the UK.
Tracii has a kid in Denmark and was there half the time not too long ago.
As the rest of the band is forgettable, which of these 2 can not leave the country? Or does not want to leave the country?
Tracii in the shitter on the plane the whole flight? Phil with the fan assault case?

It's not 2015 anymore - everything is more expensive post-pandemic. Juice might not be worth the squeeze.

Not worth the hassle
Why would anybody want to leave
Its 85* sunny let’s plan stressful tour at age 65
Just keep ice fishing in some place daydreaming about LA Guns 2026
The ballad of never leaving USA
LA Guns gets bored- just comeback to Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach 1/4 mile from beach

Last time they played in Europe was in 2018. Not even a few UK dates in the last 7 years while Tracii was living in Denmark half the time at some point? Gtf outta here. Meanwhile Enuff Znuff played in Europe this year.

You should write Joe Elliott nice letter ask him
Why did you pick Extreme over LA Guns for 2026 tour?

L.A. Guns (was) one of my favorite bands, and Tracii is why I picked up guitar (Sex Action video/that Black Les Paul w/cream pickguard and pickup rings), but IMO they were "firing on all cylinders" when it was Lewis/Riley/Blades (Tales from the Strip /Hollywood Forever). 2 really strong albums, and the band actually seemed to have a higher profile prior to the Guns/Lewis reunion. There has a been an "ok" song here and there, but overall, the last 5 album are completely forgettable (I'd even rank "Man in the Moon" and "Shrinking Violet" above the "reunion" CD's).

And that means nothing. Chip would play a show for a burrito and a couple beers.
You don't know what LA Gun's overhead is compared to Chip + some scabs. Don't know what the demand is. Don't know the risk vs reward ROI.
Obvious answer is usually the right one - it's not happening because its not worth it to them.

Lots of people who live in the United States but aren't originally from the United States don't want to travel internationally right now. Is Phil a citizen? I assume he has a green card, but the two aren't the same thing.

Yeah. Ding ding. Probably the answer. Combined with TG no longer playing in very hot weather - admitting it's an anxiety issue -- one would think overseas travel may trigger the same thing? It's not like air travel is even tolerable, at times, let alone overseas travel.
Probably could do pretty good business if they did, though. Surprising that they didn't play overseas with KKs Priest.

You hear of people traveling to Europe but not able to travel back to the US in a timely fashion even with valid documentation.

Only L.A. Guns show I've known of living in Paris was out in the boonies, with Jizzy Pearl on vox around 15 years ago, I forgot who they were touring with, maybe Enuff Znuff and/or Venrez or something...good show but I would have preferred Al Snug on vox.

A few things....
1. Tracii does NOT like to fly, and it's well known... he's been vocal about it before... and that's also why they do these long 3-4 and 5 week runs in a bus, as opposed to the every weekend fly dates that so many others (Great White, Warrant, Slaughter, etc..) do.
2. I also feel that some of the bands are comfortable in their setting, and continue to do the Casino, Fair, and U.S. festival circuit year after year. This includes Bret Michaels as a solo performer who rarely if ever plays out the U.S., with the occasional Canadian, or Mexico (Cancun resort) play.
Has Loverboy ever toured outside the U.S. or Canada? What about Poison, Journey and Van Halen? As big as those bands were, they did most of their business in North America and rarely stepped outside the continent.
Gn'R, Kiss, Judas Priest and even Marilyn Manson have a global appeal and tour the world, not just the lower 48. Some guys, some bands are happy to play the same circuit year after year.
Motorhead was good for (maybe) 1,000 people in the states... maybe... but in Europe, they would headline 5-10,000 seat venues.
Also, the opposite happens, where a band like Saxon does much better numbers than the U.S., where if they play, they're lucky to pull 500 people.
3. Also, it's fair to say that the money and crowds are often better/bigger in Europe and South America. I don't say that to dis the U.S.A., but it's true. More money, more people outside the U.S. for these bands, and it's likely for a few reasons. First off, these bands don't appear or tour in these Foreign markets as often, and the truth is, the fans are kind of spoiled here. There are like 15-20 bands, who pretty much tour year-round in all of these U.S. markets... if you miss Great White or L.A. Guns or BulletBoys this month, they will be within a few hours drive withing the coming 4-6 months. Where as they likely only get to S. Am. or The U.K. and Europe a few times in a decade.
Adding... if you make a list of 5-10 of the BIGGEST festivals in the world, NONE of them are in the states!
Most of these huge festivals, have 2-3 or 5+ stages, are 3-5 days long, and draw near capacity or Sold Out crowds well into the tens-of-thousands.
Sweden Rock, Rock N' Rio, Wacken, and the list goes on.
Wacken announces their date, 8-9 months in advance, and often it sells out before they even announce the full-lineup of bands. Fans are more committed, and are way more into it than a lot of the American based fans/festivals.
I think they're happy to play here, headline some shows, and support Keifer on the rest. How many years in a row have they done this run? And Keifer is in the same boat... never or rarely leaves the states!

They did a run in 2017, saw them in Ottawa. (I'm in this clip somewhere)

I'm a fairly casual LA Guns fan, but they played this small pool hall (Brass Monkey) and I was on the Fence about going.. They played to about 200 people, and they played like they were in front of 20K. Was an awesome show
Also thought it was weird that Tracii kissed Phil. Around 3:40. That always stuck with me

If it financially would make sense, I assume they would tour outside the States.
But I can imagine that it is not worth the hassle for a band like L.A. Guns to book a few week run touring Europe playing small-ish clubs. I doubt there is any money to be made, most probably they would lose money. And it’s not like they are in a position where they are trying to gain new audience and that’s why they’d tour other markets just for ”getting your name out there”.

Pussycat play over here pretty frequently (for a band of that size) as do other bands from the scene, there's always a decent/large-ish crowd. Last time I saw Pussycat in London it was fucking rammed.
Pussycat + LA Guns tour would easily earn enough money for their hair dye and cigarettes. I'd go.

Tracii doesn't want to do heavy touring. Back when he was out of the the band they played everywhere.
