PBR in ANAHEIM at THE POND ... Who here watches any Professional Bull Rodeo (Team Series)?

Post by MetalSludgeCEO »

Anyone... Bhuller, Anyone...?

I am going to Anaheim today, for the 3rd year in a row...or... is it the 4th?

I had never been to, but my cousin is the Asst. GM & A&R for the Nashville Stampede, and invited me a few years ago!

I went, and was actually, pleasantly surprised as to how cool it was... it's WAY more like a Rock Concert than one might imagine!

And seeing it on TV, does not nothing for actually seeing it live!

My 21 year old daughter went a few months ago. Her friends got free tickets, and they had nothing to do that night. They went, expecting it to be there for about an hour.

I told her was gonna be a bunch of rednecks chewing tobacco and drinking cheap beer and she'd hate everything about it. :D :D

Turns out, they absolutely loved it. As you said, was more like a rock concert.... People of all ages were there. She ran into tons of people she hadn't seen in a while.

My friends and I are definitely gonna check it out next time they come through, cause it definitely sounded like a kickass night.

It's a great time. Me and daveg are surrounded by other Jon Pardi fans when we're there!

I absolutely love PBR!!

It's the only sport that I have any interest in watching or care anything about. Unfortunately, they don't really have any events in Northeast, Ohio that often so I watch a lot of them on the Roku app. When you realize that the sport consists of one rider sitting atop a 1,000 lb piece of pissed off muscle and has to try to stay on for eight seconds, holding on with one hand (and one hand only) you realize why it's referred to as the "Most Dangerous Sport On Earth".

Pro bull riding is one of the best 2 1/2 hour shows you can pay money for as a customer. Pyro, huge song intros, very organized presentation. Will always pay money for it.

Drove down from Fresno today. Going with wife and daughter tomorrow. It's our family's thing that we are fans of and follow together.

I'm acquaintances with a PBR Stock Contractor. Earlier this year I spent some time with him and his bull team at Bull Housing which is where they keep the bulls near events when they are not bucking. They are fantastic animals and athletes.

It's coming to Boston for the first time ever for 2 nights & I hope to go to both. Do the events normally sell out? I have a feeling the Boston dates will do big business.

The elite levels, Unleash the Beast and Teams, sellout or come close most events.
