So, opening on the 2026 Poison tour for a Poison 40th/Twisted 50th anniversary tour, like has been rumored for a year?
Interesting that Mark Mendoza is sitting out, but not surprising at all based on any pictures of him in the last ten years.

I saw a pic of Mendoza in an article from March 2025 and he’d lost a lot of weight, unless the pic is photoshopped or whatever.

Hadn't seen that. I think the thing most people on here would comment on is his truly bizarre hair situation, rather than weight.
But that's a good point, maybe he's legit sick and can't tour.

I'd love to go see them just once, but given their European track record, it will be festivals, and I'm not gonna drag my ass out to that Hellfest circus.

Dee was on Eddie Trunk discussing Mark, and said the reason why Mark wasn't touring with them was "irreconcilable differences", and he wouldn't go into specifics, and apparently, it's pretty bad, because Dee even ruled out a one time appearance.
Much like Mark's hair, draw your own conclusions, but it doesn't appear to be illness related.

Also from Trunk Interview, dont think its a tour per se like a Poison thing. Festivals in Europe & US mainly

Dee's a loudmouth, im sure, but he wrote all the songs, does all the interviews, and the money split is whatever it is. What could Mark need? It's go play or stay home. Its odd that a guy with no star power is mad that the star in the band is the star in the band.

I saw them twice in ‘84 and they were GREAT both times. The MTV concert is one of the best ever.
I’d see them if they did regular touring dates, but I doubt that will be the case.
Also, Dee is better singer than 90+% of rock singers. Always criminally underrated because of the drag/schtick. Too bad they didn’t ditch that and just go with the YCSRnR look.

Who says he is mad about Dee being the star lol.
I bet management said he can be along for the ride but with an extra clause in his contract: no sharpie make-up the whole tour, on stage as well as off stage. They do not want that to be what everyone is focussing on, the jokes and memes will write itself. It would be bad for the “brand” to go down in the history books as the band with the sharpie bass player. No one in their right mind walks around like that, dude may have mental issues and may not even be able to leave the house without looking like that.

If you had said to my 13 year old self in 1984 that Twisted Sister would be let out the nursing home 40 years later to tour on the heels of ‘We’re not gonna take it” I would’ve shit my Krokus underdoos laughing. Yet here we are… unbelievable. And guys will pay to see it.

I'm never going to spend another dime on farewell tours! I not only saw TS but way back in 2003 I saw "Bent Brother" (TS without makeup) at L'amour in Brooklyn. Talk about jam packed sold out!
I'm guessing it will be Poison/TS. It'll be fun.
Did they really sell 30 million records though? That sounds greatly exaggerated.

When TS opened for Iron Maiden we skipped them. Then, when TS headlined with Dokken & Y & T, we left after 2 songs. I would go see Mark Mendoza's band, though.

None of us know what the last 10 years have done, but TS still put on a great show when they did their last tour. Dee could sing, Dee was in great shape, and the band sounded great. We have also recently seen Dee do a few songs on Bretapolloza. So based on that, paying to see TS in 2026 isn't exactly a crazy idea. You seem to be lumping them in with the Motleys, Dokkens, and Frankie Vallis based on nothing.

I saw them for the first time in 2014 at a festival and I have to say that they were really good. Dee and the band put on a great show.
I was not expecting them to be that good and I'm glad I got to finally see them at least once.
I had tickets to the ill fated Come Out 'N Play tour with Dokken opening before it got canned for poor ticket sales.

They had big issues with each other the first time around so it's not surprising shit probably was never 100% good between them.

Is that a band?! I'm down as long as it's brutal ass bitchslappin death metal or f*ggyass glam/hair metal.
