So let me get this straight, because I havent talked to him or anyone else about ANY of the latest happenings regarding this ridiculous situation: Youre saying that Rev didnt actually do anything ban-worthy, you simply banned him because you figured that he might listen to some people he doesnt even friggin know and go too far with a fight that everyone knows he has absolutely nothing to do with? Well- for whatever its worth, a lot of people gave him good advice right here... too bad he wasnt given a chance to take it.

If the mod thought he had posted personal info that violated TOS wouldnt that have been deleted? I already said I havent followed all of this crap, but the mod SAID themselves that nothing had to be deleted. You could also try being fair- what Rev was dishing out is no different than what was being dished to him. I dont know Rev THAT well, but I really think that he would have... I know he respects Chickie and me, and we both told him the same thing. He honestly had NO way of knowing about all of this stupid drama, and I think he would have realized after reading our posts that he would not want to be part of any of that.
Its really a moot point though, because in the Sludge world, benefit of the doubt is selective... and the TOS around here are flexible, depending on who the violation offends. Nothing surprising, but it really is a shame that things have to be like that.

If you and Chickenona have the power to halt a full-scale meltdown with a soothing post or 2 then more power to you. Call me a skeptic, but I think anyone displaying Rev's level of psychopathology isn't going to shut it down without a serious real life intervention.
The 'postscript' thing? It's still up (along with everything else) so the mods think it's weak, too. I haven't seen any of this 'very real personal info' either. He never put up anything useful to anyone. He (maybe) put up little hints to mess with you and successfully freaked you all out. No one except you and he would have known if he was bullshitting or not until you reacted. Ironically, in that way he did 'own' you all. He bluffed and got called on it by the powers that be.

All of his links have his name and locations on them or some "personal info. Some even have his phone number. The newspaper articles he gave interviews to, printed his name. That "Monumental" testemony he gave in the trial has his personal info all over it. He posted pictures of his family, told us where he worked, posted pictures of his mom etc. HE said he doesn't hide. HE SAID THIS: "I'm a public figure." He said he didnt care. So this post-banning pity party is a waste of time.
