I never thought my post would start a dogpile on DC. I have never wielded that much influence here - or, sadly, anywhere else - in my life.

It was a sincerely-meant piece of friendly advice, designed to help DC avoid the hopeless mire that is a back-and-forth with Mumra.

After watching the back-and-forth in the cookie thread, I made a choice between starting a thread for DC or starting one for Mumra. Starting one for Mumra would have been so dishonorable and so against my core beliefs I would have had commit hari-kari afterwards to avoid shaming my family.
