The only way I have any clue that it might be in style is the fact that my teenager bought a crimping iron with her own money. A crimping iron that gave me a 3rd degree burn on my temple. She shops for clothes and makeup and shit, and reads things like "Vogue." As soon as she leaves the house, I will be sadly out of touch with anything fashionable.

Why is it that chicks with straight hair want curly hair, and chicks with curly hair want straight hair? One of my kids is a natural, bright blonde and she wants to dye her hair dark brown. WTF?
