Well if you have not downloaded a free meal coupon from KFC introducing their new Kentucky Grilled Chicken don't bother. I downloaded two and traveled to four different KFCs attempting to get a free meal.
All of the KFCs had signs posted on the door or at the counter saying they were 'not accepting ' or 'not participating' in the promotion. The last store told me I'd have to find a corporate store but couldn't refer me to one.
Seems to me that the big wigs at KFC were running a promotion and expected the franchisees to pick up the tab. Little wonder as to the direction of corporate America. KFC's executives are just as out of touch with their franchises as they are to public reaction. GO POLLO LOCO and POPEYE CHICKEN!
