And shit, Dixie Carter is hotter than most of the Knockouts in TNA!
Jericho's Twitter said his partner is evil. I guess it's Kane then?
I really hope it's not him. If they go with him, that just seems like they have no idea what else to do with the titles.

Fixed that for ya.

Odds are, Legacy is going to end up with the titles after Night of Champs anyway.

Leave it to WWE to fuck up the great slow burn they had going with Punk by having him drop the title to Hardy. Leaving the belt on Punk would have been a heat magnet...

No, he won the title for 2 reasons:
1)He is the most over wrestler in WWE today. Whereas Cena gets boos,Hardy is probably the only guy who is loved by nearly all fans. WWE sells a shit ton of Jeff Hardy merch.
2)The WWE is low on big name talent. HBK (for now) ,Taker and Edge are all out. WWE really wants Jeff to stay and they are going to do what they can to get him to sign even a short term extension.

A friend downs PPVs a few days after they air and I don't watch em for at least a couple of weeks later. The angles and main events from weeks back at PPVs way too often still match up with the weekly tv, year after after now.
Even after traditional fued ending PPVs. Same shit, new week.

No matter how many people are watching and/or paying for the WWE .. and even with 'less suck' on Smack, the entire WWE product is still really not very entertaining, or even 1/4 as good as the booking used to be or should be... and not just Attitude era stuff. Before, during and after.

If Vince was booking 1/2 as good as ECW HARCORE TV was, I'd be giving Vince several hundred dollars a year, for PPV and live shows.

But millions pay him for shit weaker than any kid could write in his free time.

yeah, but what's the televised alternitive, Total Non-stop Angle? No thanks. The story lines are so weak in TNA they make the E's bookers and writers look like Rhodes scolars.

I don't think that there's anything that could happen in the wrestling world to make me want to waste $40 on a WWE PPV these days. I think the last one I bought personally was the second ECW One Night Stand PPV in '06. Last one I actually watched was December to Dismember that same year. Probably the worst thing I've ever witnessed. Just glad I didn't spend money on that one.

As for TNA, my cousin orders one of their PPVs every now and then so I get to catch them ever so often.

That's basically it... Still though, I think they could have really ran with Punk as the heel champ. He's the most interesting character they have had in a VERY long time. Even if he is doing what is basically a PG version of his ROH heel character, it's still something that WWE hasn't really had before.

It works even better now that WWE is clearly going into a family friendly direction after years of getting buried for targeting an "inappropriate" product and characters to kids. If you read deep (too deep?) into it, it's like the WWE is saying, "We're giving you a safe product, and you and your kids are still marking for the junkie, yet booing clean cut heels like Jericho and Punk."

I think they could have had a field day with Punk ripping the fans and the media in the mainstream. Still, he's not going anywhere... and they have the opportunity to do something really big with him. Hopefully the ball isn't dropped, but I think they did take a legit step backwards by having him drop the strap.

It seems like they believe that quickly hotshotting the title onto someone is the best answer these days and it's just not so. That title has went from Edge to Cena then back to Edge to Hardy to CM Punk and back to Hardy just since Feb.

They'll tease it for a week or two like last time they got back together. Remember Triple H's promo "That's funny Vince, because I've got two words for ya" crowd pops, "I'm sorry", pop ends.

He's on the SummerSlam posters that are at the 7-11's as part of them sponsoring the show. So unless something changes, I think he'll be there. Wouldn't surprise me if Ari Gold makes the announcement this Monday...

Its funny DX did everything to destroy NWO and Nitro, now DX is the WWE NWO, way past old dudes that should retire and beat up all the other young talent

Do you watch wrestling? Shawn Michaels is STILL one of the best workers today. He has the all around ability to have a great match with a broom and can still cut a great promo. I am kinda bored with HHH but HBK is still an amazing talent.

I think that Priceless will get the rub at some point over DX but not at Summerslam which if it happens would be HBK's 1st match since WM26.

For the sake of discussion, when is the last time DX put anybody over that was young or wasn't already extremely over to begin with? Granted they both job more than they used to, but victories over them really don't do anything for Jericho, Taker, Orton or Cena at this point.

I'm not saying that they should have just been jobbed out completely to Miz and Morrison last year, but they probably could have gotten a decent feud with both teams trading off wins, rather than the one match they had. Even if they had to book DX to go over, they still could have given the two young guys a win or two, so even though they end up losing the feud, they could still look somewhat credible coming out of it.

So while DX always had more talent than the NWO, when it comes to business, in most cases, I'm not seeing much of a difference.

To me... the knock against The H and Michaels is very similar. They are both great workers in their own right... but their biggest weakness is they just don't seem to be able to make guys look good while still going over. The H especially. Who was the last guy that jobbed to him, but got something out of it? Same thing with Michaels. I remember after Michaels jobbed to Hogan, the next three weeks on RAW he went over the three most over young guys they had on the roster at the time: Orton, Carlito, and Benjamin. He made NONE of them look good in the process. Carlito and Benjamin specifically looked like jobbers.

Now look at the match from about a month ago between The Colons and Edge/Jericho. Edge & Jericho went over, but they made the Colons (especially Primo) look a million bucks.

To me, that's the biggest weakness of Shawn & The H. Maybe not Shawn so much, but still... GREAT workers can go over and still make their opponents look good the majority of the time. The two of them don't.
