Abilene, TX House Show Madness
-CM Punk came out first, the second he stepped out the crowd was all over him. He never had to say a thing. He got into a verbal altercation with someone in the middle of the crowd started screaming at him. He never had to say anything he did his job walking out. He did get on the mic did a little comment then Jericho came out. When Jericho came out, something seemed off with him. He already seemed very upset, he got on the mic commented on the Canadians beating the US in hockey and then the beer got thrown. Him Punk and Gallows then ran to ringside trying to point out who threw it. They then brought out Edge and Morrison, Edge then got on the mic to calm down the crowd, telling us that they would kick Punk and Jerichos butts for us. After that they were killing time by playing with the T-Shirt Punk wore out. First Edge blew his nose with it then Morrison wiped himself with it then threw it down (channeling his best Ric Flair) dropped an elbow on it kicking it out of the ring. After that they finally started the match Jericho was in the ring for a very short period of time, then as soon as the match was over Jericho was gone. I didn't know about the hockey, I just assumed he was upset over the fans.

How good was the Batista/Cena segment last night?
I don't really care for either of these guys, but that was just amazing hype. Best segment Batista has ever done. Good stuff

Totally agree. I've never been a Cena hater, not really a fan either but the guy does work hard. Batista has bored me to tears for a long time, but that was the best promo he's ever given...Royal Dudeness wrote:How good was the Batista/Cena segment last night?

I agree! However, Dave looked like he was dressed for a gay biker rally!

Batista CANNOT decide on a "look" outside the ring. One week he's wearing pink polo shirts and bowler caps and the next he's dressing like he's headed out on a date with Rob Halford to The Blue Oyster...

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
With only one week to go until WrestleMania, WWE Hall of Famer Pete Rose, one of the most controversial figures in sports, will be the guest host of Monday Night Raw live from San Jose, Calif.
Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader will be looking to knock one out of the park as the biggest night of the year is only days away. Rose is no stranger to WrestleMania. He appeared at WrestleMania XIV, WrestleMania XV and WrestleMania 2000 and each time had a run-in with Kane. Might SmackDown’s Big Red Monster make his way to Raw just for another confrontation with his long-time nemesis?
What last minute impact might the legendary slugger have before WrestleMania?

YES! RVD is in TNA! Great news, maybe he can go back to the 1998 RVD 4:20,The Whole F'N Show. not the WWE TV PG RVD.
Spike TV's official Twitter page posted the following message:
"RT @TNA_FANS: HULK HOGAN confirms "Mr. Monday Night" RVD has signed with TNA Wrestling! http://bit.ly/cZ9HmK @SPIKE_TV"
... See More... See More
According to prowrestling.net, TNA is not pleased with this news being leaked. It's possible that Hogan did the radio interview, not realizing that the video being shot of him would end up on YouTube immediately
Rob Van Dam’s WWE Universe Profile was just deleted. The page was still up just over one hour ago. RVD himself has said that WWE did disable his page when rumors first began to fly around that he had signed with TNA. This is further proof that RVD has signed with TNA.

While the debate of TNA vs WWF rages on.. I'd like to take a short intermission here...
I'd love to hear some of the poster's fav moments in Wrestling.
(regardless of the league)
My personal FAV TV MOMENT:
Chavo and Eddie...
Chavo rides his Stick Horse to the ring much to Eddie's dismay.. Eddie grabs the Stick Horse from Chavo and promptly breaks it over his knee.. Chavo falls to pieces..
FAV LIVE MOMENT:
My best friend and I were sitting in the bleacher section along the isle at the venue. Shawn Micheals came out as a surprise guest..
My friend (possibly the biggest Shawn Micheals fan ever) JUMPED OVER 2 rows of sitting people to get to the rail close to him..
As she landed on the bleachers 2 rows down from us, the sound SCARED Micheals who JUMPED at the sound... his eyes got big as saucers and he RAN the rest of the way down the isle

Umm,WWE really wanted RVD. He is still really over and sells a TON of merch.LAglamrocker wrote:Hulk is right he is pushing the young guys RVD is only 40, thats young to Hulk

I think you just hate TNA,my friend. TNA could sign The Rock,John Cena, Triple H,Taker,Shane McMahon, Tyler Black,Brian Danielson,Brock Lesnar and you'd still find something to complain about.

Um,I don't hate TNA,I just find their show boring. But to be honest,It's has gotten better.I stop watching them when they broke up LAX.But now they got RVD,I'm going to give them a chance.I just can't believe that Hulk gave out that story.Even your own thread stated that TNA is angry how the news came out.Now I have a feeling that the WWE is going to give in to Booker T demands and sign him up.BTW,tell Eric B to suck a cock before he rips on Vince. An XFL remark? That's old news.Just like the top talent on TNA.(Except AJ.He's really good.)Angry Jew wrote:Umm,WWE really wanted RVD. Pope,Jeff Hardy ,Nigel McGuiness,Matt Morgan and AJ Styles are all top young talent in TNA. Anyway, the guys TNA had previously did what for them? Got them the same 1.1. Bischoff knows that it will be hard to cut into WWE's audience on Monday but they have to try. In the end,WWE may be forced to step up their game and we the fans win in the end.

TNA president Dixie Carter posted a note on her Twitter page today confirming that Sting is still with the company.
“Spoke with Sting last night,” Carter wrote, “and he said he wouldn’t miss Monday’s live show for anything. Can’t wait to work with Hulk”.

Hogan used the barbed-wired bat on Flair!!! I have to admit I marked out for that.
I never thought I'd see the day when barbed-wire bat and Hulk Hogan would be used in the same sentence.

I love that she was teaching at Cretin Hall! 1-2-3-4 cretins wanna hop some more!
Gail E. Gagne, granddaughter of WWE Hall of Famer Verne Gagne and daughter of Greg Gagne, is set to stand trial on July 12 for two counts of third-degree criminal-sexual conduct for engaging in sexual acts with a 16-year-old student at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul, MN. Gagne, who was 25 at the time, was working at the school as a teacher, basketball coach and weight room supervisor. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

TNA News: Major Concern Over iMPACT! Live
Posted by: Kenny Williams (Wrestling-Radio.com)
Wrestling-Radio.com has learned - courtesy of The Wrestling Observer - that there is some MAJOR concern from the TNA locker room heading into the March 8th live edition of TNA iMPACT!, which will mark the permanent Monday night debut move of the company, and morale is said to be "way down".
It is being said that a number of competitors within TNA feel that the company completely missed the mark as it pertains to the promotion and establishment of the next live Monday night special as a "must-see program", as well as barely hyping "various surprises" as well as the upcoming Destination X pay-per-view event.
It is also being said that another major feeling within TNA is that the company has pretty much failed to to generate any sort of momentum that would be needed to make iMPACT! any kind of formidable force against Monday Night RAW, but that interest from the fans in a second possible "Monday Night War" may save iMPACT! as far as ratings are concerned.
Put on a fucking good/not WCW Nitro-lite/anywhere close to WCW Thunder, semi-logically booked debut show, then really try to do it every week, word of mouth will spread, more people will watch!
