He's been doing it for years. That's my only knock on Phil. Well, that and I'd like to see him take on a project like the Nets or Clippers and see how well he coaches w/out a Kobe, Shaq, Pippen, or Jordan.....

I think that would be cool to see. Not that he cares, but he would silence all critics by taking a basement dweller and merely making them a playoff team. Phil doesn't seem to like that kind of challenge though.

I see LeBron as a Laker before Durant. Kobe has two and a half seasons left before he morphs into Wizards MJ if the Lake Show keep on making the post-season. Granted Jordan played forever, but he "retired" twice and Kobe hasn't. In fact, barring injury, Mamba will surpass Jordan in minutes played next season throughout his career. Scoring a talented shmuck to take the place of another talented shmuck is totally Lakerball.

It was ridiculous today against the Jazz. Lakers blew a big lead so refs had to make sure they won it. Kobe literally backs over a guy like a truck and nothing is called late in the game. Then he goes to the line on touch calls.
