I have a feeling it will be a very long time before another WC is held in Africa again.( unless they ban those stupid fuckin horns).
1) Given the outfit that can ban the horns is the same outfit that decides where a World Cup goes, I can't see how the horns would impact on the decision.
2) Is anywhere else in Africa even a contender to hold a World Cup? South Africa had already hosted a Rugby World Cup and a Cricket World Cup and has a lot of ties to Britain/Europe as well as the rest of Africa, but I'm assuming nowhere else on the continent is close to being a contender?
I've been watching the Cup from day 1 and, to be honest, the noise doesn't bother me.
* The first method involves removing or lowering the actual frequency of the instrument using everything from your TV's built-in equalizer to running your sound through an audio filter. The audio filter technique is used by audio and video editors to remove hums and buzzes from soundtracks. It works by identifying an exact frequency and removing it. Most vuvuzelas apparently buzz away in the key of B Flat. Bach composed his Brandenburg Concerto No. 6. in the key of B flat and it sounded nice. When soccer fans make B flats it sounds like angry bees.
* The second method *apparently* involves noise cancellation. Found at antivuvuzelafilter.com, the idea is that you download an mp3 that directly counters the frequencies produced by the sound of the vuvuzela. You play it alongside the TV and the vuvuzela sound disappears.

On paper they’re the favourites, but they have to prove that on the pitch.
Chile and Honduras will both have a never-say-die attitude aganist the The Evil Empire- Spain.
Argentina's defense may be suspect, but they have the best offense by far in this World Cup. Messi is an incredible talent.
As long as they can keep outscoring their opposition, their defense will not hurt them. They can just win games (5-3), (5-4), etc. Once the USA is eliminated, I will be rooting for Argentina to win the cup. Maradonna is very entertaining.

I am talking about the offsides that the ref did not call on the first goal. It was close, but I have seen the refs call that play offsides many times in this tournament. As for the penalty, I didn't really have a probably with it, the Mexican player sold it well. It could have gone either way.
If Spain would have played for another two hours they still wouldn't have scored. It was one of those days where the ball just didn't go in. It would suck if they get kicked out in the first round cause the played pretty good.
I must say that Argentina has a pretty good squad. Little weak in the defence but a lot of quality up front.
Judging from all that shit in the media I was expecting something like France but the actually have a shot at the titel like in every World Cup
What u guys think are the chances of Holland ? They didn't start to impressive which is good cause most of the times they play great in the first few games and then fuck it up. Maybe this time it will be different
